| Posted: 30 Sep 2011 07:20 PM PDT Sudah terlalu lama rasanya saya tak bisa menyempatkan diri untuk menulis. Bukan karena tak adanya waktu, bukan pula karena tak ada uneg-uneg. Tapi, nafsu yang mengalihkan kesempatan itu. Ngopi sembari nongkrong di luar jam kerja, menjadi sebagian dari kegiatan keseharian. Biasanya, sembari sms-sms'an dengan kawan sekitar, siapa tahu ketemu yang di harapkan emak.       Beberapa jam yang lalu, saya sempat sms-an dengan salah seorang karyawati sebuah SPBU Kradenan. Ini adalah lanjutan dari sms hari sebelumnya saat saya menanyakan benar tidaknya bahwa di Tahunan-Sulur, ada Pasar Malam. Ia menjawab ada, tapi hanya kecil. Kali ini dia menanyakan, "Enggak jadi nonton pasar malem, Om?" kebiasaanya memanggil saya Om. "Sama kamu?" jawab saya. "Enggak ah, anak perawan enggak boleh keluar malam?" "Oh gitu, ya." Kemudian aku jawab lagi, "Pesan untuk orang yang punya prinsip melarang keluar malam cewek, pastikan saja cewek itu keluar dengan orang yang bisa dipercaya, baik siang ataupun malam. Itu yang bijak." Maksud saya, minimal kita mengenalnya.      KENYATAAN, sebagian besar memang seperti apa yang terjadi di atas. Tafsir saya, itu bermula dari kekhawatiran terenggutnya keperawanan anak gadisnya dan atau anaknya menjadi 'liar', akhirnya orang tua memilih untuk melarang anak-anaknya untuk keluar malam. Entah karena malam itu waktu yang tepat untuk merenggut keperawanan atau bagaimana, saya kurang tahu. Yang jelas, kalau siang sebagian gadis keluar (lumayan) bebas. Kenyataan semacam ini seolah malam itu adalah waktu yang menakutkan. Bukan saja karena adanya hantu, tapi "setan-setan" yang tak bisa menghilangpun konon beraksi di malam hari. Dalam konteks menjaga keperawanan, saya kira kekhawatiran itu kurang pas, ketika alasannya hanya untuk menjaga anak gadis dari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan. Karena, kalau hanya merelakan keperawanan itu bisa menyela waktu kapanpun. Baik siang maupun malam. Sesuai kesempatan yang disertai niat yang memuncak. Kekhawatiran para orang tua itu sebenarnya bukan sebatas itu, tapi intinya ke arah sana. Takutnya anak gadisnya bergaul yang tidak benar. Seks bebas, narkoba, dan sejenisnya. Dan hamil tanpa bapak, itu yang paling menakutkan untuk mereka.       Berdasarkan kacamata saya, hilangnya sebagian besar keperawanan sekarang bukan karena pemerkosaan. Namun, sebagian besar karena sama-sama mau. Yang cowok ingin menanggalkan keperjakaannya, yang cewek pun siap mengikhlaskan keperawanannya. Entah iming-iming apa dari cowok/cewek, yang jelas kesimpulannya menjadi sama-sama mau. SAYA juga tak bisa membayangkan bagaimana susahnya menjaga keperawanan. Secara, saya bukan cewek dan belum pernah memiliki anak cewek. Tapi, dari sekilas yang saya tahu, langkah-langkah para orang tua untuk menjaga keperawanan remaja putrinya dengan membatasi ruang bergaulnya. Kenyataan, langkah semacam itu tak semua berdampak positif. Kenapa begitu? Beberapa kejadian sekitar menunjukkan, sebagian dari mereka yang hamil diluar nikah itu berlatar belakang anak rumahan. Yang sebagian tidak boleh keluar rumah, baik siang, apalagi malam. Bahkan, disambangi teman lawan jenis pun, mereka di tegur habis-habisan. Biasanya, untuk yang masih usia sekolah ia dijelaskan bahwa tugasnya adalah belajar. Intinya bergaul dengan lawan jenis itu bisa mengganggu konsentrasi belajar. Begitu!           Kalau saya pikir, kejadian semacam ini akan menguatkan rasa penasaran mereka. Kenapa mereka tidak boleh bergaul dengan kaum adam? Kalau memang mengganggu, toh si anak merasa baik-baik saja. Tidak merasa terganggu. Mungkin mereka yang belum merasa terganggu akan berpendapat serupa. Secara psikologis mereka akan tertekan oleh pertentangan pendapat, antara mengganggu dan tidak masalah.       Berdasarkan itulah saya kira pendampingan untuk pengenalan tentang pergaulan bebas itu dilakukan. Mengenal bukan berarti masuk. Tapi, mengenal yang saya maksud di sini adalah cukup sekedar tahu. Baik dari pergaulannya sendiri, berikut dampak-dampaknya. Hal tersebut hendaknya disertai dengan penekanan pemahaman untuk memastikan bahwa yang sedang belajar bergaul itu benar-benar tahu batas-batas bergaul. Jangan sampai salah pemahaman yang berakibat mencoba-coba sehingga fatal di ujung. Kalau ini terjadi, sama saja bohong dan bukan menjaga namanya, tapi menjerumuskan.          By : Subiharto   |
